The DataHawk API helps you manage your DataHawk data, including products, keywords, categories, and more. It also allows you to track and untrack items, check your marketplace integrations, and manage tags for all your products and keywords.

What can I do with the DataHawk API?

1. Tracking Products, Keywords & Categories

• List tracked items → See what you’re currently monitoring.
• Add new items → Start tracking new products, keywords, or categories.
• Remove items → Stop tracking what’s no longer relevant.

2. Using Tags for Better Organization

• Create tags (e.g., "Competitors," "Top Performers").
• Edit or delete tags as your strategy evolves.

3. Marketplace Integrations

• Check connected Amazon/Walmart accounts → Ensure your data is syncing correctly.
• See supported marketplaces → Know where DataHawk can pull data from.

Getting Set-up with the DataHawk API

Our API has a rate limit of 500 calls per 15 sliding minutes, i.e., a limit of 500 x 96 = 48,000 daily calls. In other words, you can make 500 requests to our API every 15 minutes.

Step 1: Request the Activation of your API Key to our Support Team

Log in to your DataHawk account, navigate to your Account section from the left navigation menu, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on “Activate my API Key” right under your API Key.

Our team will enable API access for your account in under 12 hours so that you start testing the API free of charge. Keep in mind the API is a paid add-on if you want to continue using it.
